Isle of Skye - Fairy Glen

A flying Visit to Fairy Glen near Uig, Skye. Not having planned to visit we drove the wrong road to end up at a Farm, The Fairy Glen looked less than 1km away with only a few fields to run across and, 'a small burn to jump over', so we parked up and ran a Farm track before cutting down past a cool little waterfall for photo's. We began crossing fields and finding our small burn was in fact a strong little river. Having came so far (300m from car?) we crossed the river and continued on, this time through knee deep mud fields, to Fairy Glen to spend the next 10 minutes hiding in a cave from Rain and Hail. A break in the weather let us run round and see the Glen before we found a vantage point and then a much easier field route back to the car for a much needed change of clothes. All in a sweet little place.
